What is not permitted
Cryptocurrency mining of any kind. Any mining workload running in your container will result in immediate termination without refund.
DDoS attack infrastructure. Any outbound attack traffic from your server results in immediate termination without refund and may result in referral to relevant authorities.
Port scanning or network reconnaissance tools not related to Minecraft operation.
Storing, distributing, or transmitting illegal content of any kind.
Proxying or routing non-Minecraft traffic through your server.
Attempting to escape the container, access host infrastructure, access other customers' servers, or circumvent any security control.
Reselling Ramparts Hosting resources without written authorization.
Running Minecraft in offline mode to circumvent account verification requirements.
What is permitted
Commercial servers (charging players for ranks, cosmetics, supporter perks) compliant with Minecraft's EULA.
Private whitelisted servers.
Modded servers (Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, etc.).
Network configurations (BungeeCord, Velocity) within your allocated resources.
Multiple simultaneous server configurations via Server Garage within your plan limits.
Any legal Minecraft-related content and activity.
Enforcement
Minor violations (first offense, good faith): warning and required remediation.
Serious violations (intentional abuse, attack traffic, illegal content): immediate termination, no refund.
We monitor resource usage for abuse patterns. We do not monitor the content of your Minecraft server (what players build, say, or do in-game).
Reporting abuse
Report abuse originating from a Ramparts Hosting IP address (spam, attack traffic, unauthorized scanning, illegal content) to abuse@rampartshosting.com. Include the source IP, timestamp with timezone, and any logs or packet captures you can share. Abuse reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Copyright takedown notices and counter-notices (U.S. DMCA, EU Copyright Directive Article 17) should be sent to abuse@rampartshosting.com with the subject line beginning [DMCA]. Notices must include the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3): identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement made under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature.
