Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Ramparts Hosting, you agree to these terms. You must be 13 years of age or older. You must own a valid Minecraft Java Edition license.

2. Account

Your account identity is your Minecraft UUID, retrieved via Microsoft OAuth during sign-up. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Microsoft account. Ramparts Hosting cannot recover accounts if access to your Microsoft account is lost — contact Microsoft for account recovery.

3. Service

We provide hosted Minecraft server infrastructure as described on the pricing page. Service is provided on a best-effort basis with a target of 99.5% monthly uptime for the panel. Game node uptime depends on Hetzner infrastructure availability.

Scope of support. Support covers the Garrison panel, hosting infrastructure, network connectivity, billing, backups and restores, and verified defects in Ramparts Hosting software. Support does not cover third-party plugin, mod, modpack, or in-game configuration troubleshooting, except on a best-effort courtesy basis. Support is delivered through tickets in the Garrison panel and is answered by humans during business hours (CET).

4. Payment

Billing is monthly, in advance. Prices are in EUR, excluding VAT. VAT is applied at checkout based on your billing country. Payments processed by Stripe. Failed payments are retried for 7 days. After 7 days, servers are suspended. After 14 days of non-payment, files are deleted. After cancellation, files are retained for 30 days.

5. Acceptable Use

Your server must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Violations result in immediate termination without refund.

6. Data and Privacy

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. You own your server data. Ramparts Hosting accesses your server data only to provide the service (backups, crash analysis, console parsing for TPS and player analytics).

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the service at any time. You can cancel from your account settings. We may terminate accounts that violate the Acceptable Use Policy, fail to pay after the grace period, or engage in fraudulent activity.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ramparts Hosting is not liable for lost data beyond what is recoverable from our 30-day nightly backup system. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated by email (if provided) and by posting the updated terms with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law and Venue

Ramparts Hosting is operated by Ramparts Hosting LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms will be resolved exclusively in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Alexandria Division, or in the state courts of Louisiana sitting in Rapides Parish. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue in either of them.

Consumers resident in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of their country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country, to the extent required by Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast), or equivalent United Kingdom law. Where those rules apply, the governing-law and venue provisions above yield to them.
