Shell / SSH access
The container boundary is the security model. Everything needed for Minecraft is in the panel. Shell access is unnecessary and increases the attack surface.

Common questions.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the prorated daily difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle — for example, upgrading from 2 GB (€6/mo) to 4 GB (€12/mo) halfway through the month costs €3 immediately. The next cycle charges the full €12. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle with no immediate charge.
Garrison notifies you when you reach 80% of your disk allocation. At 100%, new file uploads are blocked and archive compression is disabled. Your server continues running normally — the disk limit affects file storage, not server operation. You can free space by deleting unused files in the Files tab or upgrade to a plan with more storage.
Yes, via Server Garage. Your RAM allocation is the limit. A 4 GB plan can run two 2 GB servers, or one 4 GB server, or any combination that totals 4 GB or less. CPU and disk limits apply proportionally to running servers. Parked (not running) servers consume no CPU and no RAM.
Server Garage lets you save multiple server configurations — different Minecraft versions, different mod setups, different worlds — and switch between them with one click. You have one permanent connection address. Players use the same address regardless of which configuration is active. When you switch, Garrison stops the current server and starts the new one. Players reconnect to the same address. You can also run multiple configurations simultaneously if your total RAM allows it.
You log in with your Microsoft account — the same account you use to play Minecraft Java Edition. Garrison completes the full Microsoft → Xbox Live → XSTS → Minecraft auth chain and retrieves your Minecraft UUID directly. That UUID is your account. No separate password. No email verification. If your Microsoft account has no Minecraft Java Edition license, login is rejected with a clear message directing you to purchase Minecraft at minecraft.net.
Garrison detects the crash, reads the crash report, identifies the cause, and displays a diagnosis on your server card immediately. For common crash types — plugin incompatibility, out-of-memory, Watchdog timeout, missing dependencies — you get a plain-English explanation and a specific recommended action. A Discord webhook notification fires if you've configured one. The server attempts one restart if the crash is recoverable. If it crashes again within the crash loop window, it stops and waits for your action.

Yes. In the Files tab, right-click any folder (including your world folder) and select 'Download as .zip.' Garrison compresses it on the server and your browser downloads the archive. For large worlds, compression may take a minute or two.
The game node is in Falkenstein, Germany. Use the Ping Test page to measure your actual latency before signing up. Western Europe (UK, Germany, Netherlands, France) typically sees 15–40 ms. Eastern Europe 20–60 ms. Middle East 80–120 ms. North America East Coast 90–120 ms.
